Slacking...again..

So i randomly got the urge to update our blog today, after going back and forth between a million different templates I ended up using the same one I had before. Genius :P Maybe one day I'll find something I really like-where do you guys like to go to make your blog all cute?

Anywho. Just a little update on us: I recently got a promotion at work and will be a MSR-member service representative-it's also called a loan officer position too. It should be interesting, a lot of work and a lot to learn! I'm excited, just a bit nervous about learning it all. At least it's finally something different though! Combining that with the 2 classes that I'm taking this semester it's going to be quite the adventure!

Colt's still in classes, this summer he's looking into either getting certified to be a CNA or a phlebotomist. We'll see as it gets closer which one it ends up being! Either way it'll be good for him to get patient contact hours for his medical school application. A year from now he'll be taking the MCAT! :) Crazy eh?

My other little brother, Dalan, got his mission call and is going to be leaving May 16  to serve in the Florida, Jacksonville mission! We're so excited for him, it's so crazy  to think that both of my little brothers will be gone. It's been weird not having Nate around and now we will have Dalan gone soon too. Colt and I joke that we're going to have to have a baby to replace my brothers, since they're always over here keeping us entertained lol Who knows!  I guess we'll see ;)  I was going to leave you with the video to Dalan opening his mission call but it's not working, so if you wanna check it out just go to my facebook page and check it out there ;)

20. For my mom and Glenna letting us crash at their house for the weekend as we weathered the storm and taking care of me too :)

Thankful Day #16

16. I'm thankful for hot chocolate. Even though drinking it without any food in my body makes me sick, it is oh so good. MmMmM...

Ashley's Baby Shower

My bestest friend, Ashley, is expecting her first baby on December 15th and I was able to throw her a baby shower! My first every baby shower that I've ever thrown, and I must say I was quite proud of how it turned out! Thanks to Pinterest.com (and if you don't know what that is you best check it out, you'll thank me for it later ;) ) I was able to get a couple ideas for the shower. I made it a onesie theme, every since Ashley and I were little, ok we weren't THAT little, we would gush over how cute onesies were. When we worked at sears portrait studio together, we'd walk around and look at the cute little onesies that they had on display and day dream about the day that we'd get to dress our cute little kids in them. That day will soon come! So it was only appropriate that I made it the theme of the baby shower. She's expecting a cute baby boy, baby Porter :)

I had a great time throwing it for her- I still have a hard time believing she's having a baby! I can't believe we're at that point in our lives already. Crazy stuff ! :)

Day 15

15. I'm thankful for eye drops-especially after finding out your contact has a tear in it and has been scratching your eye and irritating it! boo. but yay for eye drops :)
